Candice's going away

Candice's last hoorah before heading back to Australia tonight. Went to a favourite spot Minh's for dinner and then onto karaoke - which was hilarious.

Everyone was getting into it and the room was packed to the hilt! It was hilarious. And lots of fun for my first karaoke experience. Everything from "Hotel California" to "Eternal Flame" was sung with gusto!

Unfortunately Candice took a shot of Rouo (pronounced Zeo - vietnamese rice wine, which is really cheap, strong vodka) and it went down the wrong way - and it went downhill from there.

She couldn't breathe and just wasn't getting better. Everyone tried to help with their theory on how to get better, but after 1.5 hours, it really was time to go home - particularly for me as I had to be up at 4.30am to get the plane in the morning. So I headed off home with Suzanne, but Dan and Candice arrived home not long after.

Really felt sorry for her that she had that incident, because half the crew ended up downstairs trying to make her feel better. It was also probably an accumulation of everything for her, the Rouo was just the last straw.
