Le's housewarming

After a Friday night at Dragon Fly and Solace, it was off to Le's house warming. Le is my language teacher, and she is the most lovely, patient person I know :) Le is actually the language teacher for all the volunteers when they arrive in-country, so the house was packed full of AYAD and VIDA volunteers.

At one stage when I was outside having a cigarette, I stopped and turned around and looked in at everyone chatting. It was one of those moments when you know everything is meant to be. I could hear different conversations, each talking about issues and observations with the world around them, their assignments, their research. All engaging full throttle with the world. At that moment I felt so happy to be where I was.
