Dan's goodbye

There's too many goodbyes at the moment. Too many...

First VIDA, my man Dan's going away this evening. Out of the first VIDA Vietnam crew - first it was Candice, then Ali, then Phil - and now Dan. Leaving myself and Suzanne as the only remaining first VIDA volunteers in Vietnam. But Dan has now left me holding the Hanoi mantle.

Emma M, Emma B and myself (the three Emigos) went around to Dan's place for dinner and he cooked a delicious bean dish, sensational prawns (or shrimps as they're called here), tofu sot ca chua and rice. He's not only picked up a lot of language being in Vietnam, but also learned how to cook some dishes. We were all impressed.

After dinner and wine, we headed to Dragon Fly for the last final hoorah. Ran into Chan there as well, which saw herself, me and Emma all getting up and dancing to some dodgy song.

But in the words of Dan - we loved it.
