Happy New Year

Well, the Lunar New Year has hit and we're out and about to celebrate tonight.
The second New Years in as many months.

As I sit here writing, I can hear the families in nearby houses celebrating together, wishing one another a Happy New Year. It's very special and quite lovely.

The hectic frenetic pace of Tet build-up has now lulled to quiet streets - which is rather nice as well. The hit predictions were correct.

So we're out tonight for dinner and then fireworks on the lake. Should be fabulous.

Tomorrow is meant to set the tone for the next year, so we're to fill our wallets and a few of us are going to take a trip to the local pagoda, a very traditional thing to do on the first day of the new year.
